The food we serve to our pupils is prepared only of eco ingredients. “The secret of our catering are not only the fresh ingredients provided by the local food manufacturers (for example potatoes and mirepoix are delivered directly by the farmers) but also love for healthy food, combination of various tastes and cooking techniques as well as professional chefs, who’s gained their experience in renowned restaurants in Warsaw and abroad.

DietBoxKids.pl is a project started by a couple of dieters in March 2010. Currently the company employs 30 people, a team of three chefs and four certified dieters watching over the full-fledged menu. As of September 2014, DietBox has also joined the ZDROWYPRZEDSZKOLAK.ORG program and together with representatives of the foundation organizes workshops for parents about healthy young children’s nutrition and discusses other issues selected by the institution. The secret of DietBox.pl cuisine are not only fresh ingredients delivered mainly by local food producers (eg potatoes and mirepoix are delivered directly by farmers), but also a passion for healthy nutrition, and a combination of various flavours and cooking techniques, as well as a professional team of chefs.
The chefs proved to be well experienced in preparing interesting meals for children, thanks to which they are gain the approval of even the most demanding poor eaters. The company has not lost the taste of home cooking, as it doesn’t use spices boosted with the glutamate or other preservatives.

In DietBox Kids we are aware that rational nutrition is especially important for (young) children. It influences not only their health, well-being, appropriate growth and general development – it is as of the youngest years that we shape the flavours and nutritional preferences of our kids.
Social responsibility in children’s nutrition
Our services are targeted at those children and their parents who pay special attention to menu. We believe in so called “social responsibility” of companies providing their catering services to nurseries, preschools and schools. Children’s healthy nutrition are not only full-valued, tasty meals but also the everyday development of their culinary delights as well as variety.
Conscientious quality control
Given the interest of the highest quality, we have implemented certain checkpoints in the HACCP(*) food safety management system. We carefully verify the quality of used raw products, and also we have set checkpoints to eliminate microbiological, chemical and physical risks in the process of creating ready-made dishes.
Our meals are delivered with owned specialised transport in vacuum flasks which guarantee the appropriate temperature and quality of food.
Wide choice of special diets
Depending on the individual needs of children our dietician develops special menus for pupils with diabetes, also gluten-free diets, diets respecting phenylketonuria and milk-free or vegan diets.
All menus are prepared with accordance to the current guidelines provided by the Food and Nutrition Institute in Warsaw and the Regulation of the Minister for Health of July 26, 2016, and take into account the appropriate nutrient requirements as well as caloric value.
We also prepare meals basing on eco products exclusively.
BREAKFAST – served mainly with homemade sausages or high-quality cured meats (at least 98% of meat), cheeses and jams. Additionally, we also prepare yogurt with fruit based on natural yoghurt and fresh or frozen fruit.
SOUPS – depending on the choice of menu, the basis for soups are either vegetables or vegetables and meat. We do not use broth cubes, mixed spices and ready fixes – for example we boil broth vegetables, brisket and chicken (free-range farms), white borscht on its own sourdough or organic one from Kochanów, and cucumber soup – on our own pickled cucumbers or from farmers from the Łomianki area.

AFTERNOON SNACKS – such as cakes, jellies, kisel, cold cheesecakes are of our choice. For kisel we use seasonal fruits and agar-agar. Of course during the winter time we take advantage of frozen fruits, and also we serve warm snacks, such as pancakes, rice with roasted apple, pudding, kisel, or crumpets, at least twice a week.
FRUIT COMPOTE – are prepared exclusively of the seasonal fruit mixes. It may be delivered both in sweet and sugar-free option.
